After a full charge, the system draws extremely little power (≈1 mA, dropping to 0.2 mA near empty). Self‑discharge is about 1–2%/month. For multi‑month storage, top up the battery periodically.
Capacity reduces gradually with use — approx. ~90% after ~250 cycles and ~80% after ~1,000 cycles (typical Li‑ion behavior in lab conditions).
